Whole house water filter for Clarkson homes

A whole house water filter in Clarkson cleans the water at the point it enters your home. Every tap, shower and appliance gets the same filtered water.

  • Fitted where the main line enters the house
  • Removes sediment before it reaches your taps
  • Works for the whole home, not just one tap

Why a whole house filter

Filtered water from every tap

Cleaner water at the source

A whole house filter sits on the main line. The water that reaches your kitchen, bathroom, laundry and garden has passed through the filter first.

Protects appliances too

Sediment from the mains can build up in hot water systems, washing machines and shower heads. A whole house filter catches it early.

No more single-tap limits

Jug and tap filters only clean one point of use. A whole house filter means every tap in a Clarkson home runs off the same filtration.

Whole house water filter Clarkson

The system, simply explained

Our whole-house filter is installed on the main water line before it branches off to the rest of the house. It's a three-stage system with replaceable cartridges.

Each of the three stages filters to 1 micron, fine enough to catch the silt and sediment carried in Perth mains water.

We service Clarkson and Perth's northern suburbs, and can also advise on water softeners for hard water and reverse osmosis for drinking water.

Whole house filter questions

What's inside the 3-stage system?

Stage 1 is a polyspun sediment pre-filter (1 micron) that catches dirt, sediment, silt and algae. Stage 2 is an anti-scale coconut carbon block (1 micron) that reduces scale, chlorine, odours and heavy metals. Stage 3 is a carbon block filter (1 micron) that removes harsh chemicals and extends filter life. The filters are 20" x 4.5", about twice the size of most competitors' cartridges.

Why does 1 micron filtration matter?

Our system filters to 1 micron at every stage, which removes 90%+ of contaminants. Most companies only offer 5 micron. For perspective, a human hair is about 70 microns across.

How often do filters need changing?

Our whole-house filters are changed every 15 months, much longer than some competitors' 6-month filters. You'll get a text message reminder when your filters are due, so there's nothing to keep track of.

Will a filter system look ugly on my wall?

It doesn't have to. Our package includes both colour-coded and stainless steel covers, and covers can be painted to match your brick or render, so the system blends in with your home.
