The Seaside system

The 3-stage, 1 micron whole-house filter

Three big filters, each rated to 1 micron, treating every drop of water that enters your home. Here's what each stage does and why the details matter.

Stage by stage

What happens to your water

Mains water passes through all three stages in order before it reaches your taps, shower and appliances.

  1. Stage 1: Polyspun sediment pre-filter 1 micron

The first line of defence. Catches dirt, sediment, silt and algae, the brown build-up you see on a used filter.

  2. Stage 2: Anti-scale coconut carbon block 1 micron

Reduces scale, chlorine, odours and heavy metals, for better-tasting water and less build-up in kettles and fittings.

  3. Stage 3: Carbon block filter 1 micron

Removes harsh chemicals and extends filter life.

Filters changed every 15 months

Your filters are changed every 15 months, versus some competitors' 6-month filters. When they're due, we send you a reminder and a short video showing how to change them, and we leave the tools with you so you can change your own filters.

Every system is installed by a licensed plumber to WaterMark standards, which ensures compliance and proper function and protects your warranty.

3-stage system questions

What's inside the 3-stage system?

Stage 1 is a polyspun sediment pre-filter (1 micron) that catches dirt, sediment, silt and algae. Stage 2 is an anti-scale coconut carbon block (1 micron) that reduces scale, chlorine, odours and heavy metals. Stage 3 is a carbon block filter (1 micron) that removes harsh chemicals and extends filter life. The filters are 20" x 4.5", about twice the size of most competitors' cartridges.

Why does 1 micron filtration matter?

Our system filters to 1 micron at every stage, which removes 90%+ of contaminants. Most companies only offer 5 micron. For perspective, a human hair is about 70 microns across.

How often do filters need changing?

Our whole-house filters are changed every 15 months, much longer than some competitors' 6-month filters. You'll get a text message reminder when your filters are due, so there's nothing to keep track of.

Can I install a whole-house water filter myself?

No. Whole-house systems must be installed by a licensed plumber and should be installed to WaterMark standards. Professional installation ensures compliance and proper function, and it protects your warranty. All our installations are done by experienced, licensed plumbers.

How much does a whole-house water filtration system cost?

Our premium whole-house triple filter package is $2,845 including GST, fully installed. That's complete filtration for every tap, shower and appliance in your home, and it includes both colour-coded and stainless steel covers so the system blends in with your home's outdoor space. There are no hidden costs: the price is fully installed by qualified, licensed installers.
